This is a set of static documents about how games teach their rules. It is built to need nothing from a reader in order to be read.

There is no tag manager, no page-view counter, no session recorder, no heatmap tool and no behavioural measurement. Nothing observes which review a reader opens or how long they stay on it.
This is partly a matter of preference and partly a consequence of the format. A publication that consists of eleven static documents does not need audience data to decide what to write next, because what it writes next is decided by which game does something new with its opening.
Nothing here is loaded from another party. Every stylesheet, script, typeface reference and image is served from the same place as the page that uses it, and there are no embedded players, comment widgets, share buttons, font services or advertising frames.
The practical effect is that opening a page here creates no relationship between the reader and any organisation other than whoever is hosting these files.
This site sets no cookies. It writes nothing to local storage or session storage, and it does not use any comparable browser mechanism to retain a value between visits. No consent notice appears because there is nothing to consent to.
There are no accounts, no registration, no login and no newsletter. There is no form anywhere on this site, which means there is no field into which a reader could type a name, a postal address or any other detail, and consequently nothing of that kind is ever collected or stored.
Readers who repeat the timings published here and want to report a different figure do so on their own platforms, which is how the two changes to the grading procedure described elsewhere reached us.
Whoever hosts these files may keep ordinary access logs — requested paths, response codes, timestamps and similar operational records. That is a function of web hosting rather than a decision made by this publication, and no such record is combined with anything else, examined for behavioural purposes or shared.
Where a review links to something outside this site, the linked page is governed by whoever operates it, and nothing about the practices described here extends to it. Such links are used sparingly and only where they support a claim in the text.
This publication is written for adults who buy PC games. It contains no material directed at children, and since it collects nothing from anybody, no age-specific data handling arises.
Any future change to what these pages load or set would be written into this document with a description of what changed and why. A reader returning after a long absence should be able to tell from this page alone whether the position has moved.
